Downloading and Installing
Download the .ZIP from the email you received. Unzip, and place all files and folders in a folder together.
Licensing
If you’re using a personal license, click through the dialogs to get your computer ID. Send your computer ID to Daniel to get your serial. Open Minotaur again, and paste in your serial.
Minotaur displays your expiration date at the bottom of the main menu.
Editing Show Information
Click the show name on the main menu to edit show information. The Minotaur Color controls the trim on all paperwork Minotaur generates, and is helpful for differentiating shows when you’re working on more than one show in Minotaur.
Setting Defaults
Filling in defaults for categories, methods, and label types before you add your sound system will save you time. When you add an entry (like a new piece of equipment, a new cable, or a new box), the entry will be pre-filled with the defaults. You can change these fields later if you need to. The defaults for each type of entry are in grey boxes at the top right of each entry form.
Defining Groups, Categories, and Methods
Defining groups, categories, and methods first can speed up data entry later.
Importing equipment, cable, and tail types
You can bring in equipment types, cable types, and tail types from previous shows so you don’t need to redefine them with each show.
